LAKSHMI: The Soul of my Being

The Wind begins in the East
Where an Indian beauty weeps for her love
Lost in the wars.

In that lost time remembered
All mischiefs are reminisced
Again and yet once again – with a smile.

Her sighs cannot return her to the past
But, softly, they tickle my ear from far away
And I hope that the sound of her sound
Will become my mood - and my circumstances.

Waxing Lyrical

Like the womb of a young girl,
The full moon ripens;
With the needs and hopes of the back-lit earth.

In the Garden of Desire
The belly swells;
Moved by its own reflection in a lover's eye.

The growing seed roots us
To the fertile ground;
To stop the spinning world skipping from our hands.

When all is well,
The quick breath slows us down;
Reflecting the pure joy of a warming embrace.

Thoughts collide in the Pandora's box:
The moon of secrets;
When the dream bathes the world in the dreamer's light.
